Beauty Love - Chapter 35 - Could Be….?

Summary : Both Kian and Mark , 11 yrs old, are an orphan at St. Peter Orphan House for Boys. They grew up together and happily, they were loved by all sisters and father, but they are still want to feel having a real family which mean having mother, father, and brother. Would they have that too ? 
 

Chapter 35
Could Be….?


Shane still looked to the glimpse body.
    “How can you be so sure? You saw her on St. Peter and had her giving her baby there, but it doesn’t mean she’s your mother,” Shane tried to realistic.
    “She left her baby 17 years ago, and he was so sick. So sick that she couldn’t take care of him, that’s why she gave him away. And that baby is me, Shane...”
    “But I’m sure it’s not only you who got sick, Sir, it couldn’t be you.”
    “No, Shane! It’s really me. Her baby has a lung’s problem, and it’s only me who had that problem! I have lung problem, remember? It’s me, Shane, that baby is me! ... i’m her baby...,” he couldn’t help sobbing. Can’t believe he would meet her mother like this. “And...she was a murder. My mother, she was a mother!” as he couldn’t accept that.
    “O... boy,” he pulled the boy to his arms and comfort him.
    “Shane... what should I do...? Should I...?”
    “Shss... not yet, Kian...,” as he knew what Kian might want to do.
Kian pulled his self off, “But, she is my mother, and she’s lonely... I should...?”
    “Yes, but after we know about her.”
    “We do know, Shane...,”
    “Well, that my point, Sir. We do know who was her, a murderer, Kian, and had spent his 15 years murderer. We couldn’t just take her with us, and remember you still Lady Adeline which every act you do, we had to consider of the risk.”
Kian fell with Shane realistic reason, and sobbed, “But she’s my mother...,”
    “I know, Sir.... but I’m sorry...”
Kian cried again.
    “But it doesn’t mean we rejected her, or not committed her, Kian..., ”
    “So what should I do, Shane?”
    “I suggested, get even closer with her... find anything you want to know about her. Her past life and why she was doing that.”
Kian bit his lips. “You think so?”
    “Yea... she’s your mother, Sir, you ought to know everything about her...,”
 Kian went think, “She had to give me away, Shane. She had to. She didn’t have money to took care of me, that’s why she put me on St. Peter.”
Shane nodded.
     “She said... I have his illness, Shane.”
     “He? Your father?”
     “Yes, she said I have the Kiane illness with him which was killed him. That’s why she couldn’t see me die like him. She wanted me to live, Shane.”
     “Of course she does. That’s a mother should do for her child.”
     “It’s that mean, she’s not a bad person?”
     “No one said she was bad person, Kian. We just have to_”
     “Yes, I understand, Shane,” he cut him.  “And you are right.”
Shane nodded again, and felt glad Kian could take it well.
Kian sighed with still unbelievable. “I found my mother, Shane...”
Shane just nodded felt happy for Kian, but still he was not sure this will good for Kian. He hoped this wouldn’t ruin his part as Adeline who still had mother. A mother who she had to live for.
     “Shane, take me home now...,”
Shane sighed in relieve. So he couldn’t face this today. Kian really need to rest after the shocked truth.
     “Yes, Sir, we can come back here tomorrow,” and helped his young master stand,
     “And Shane... please don’t let Father know this. We couldn’t let him know about her.”
Shane bit his lips, hesitated.
     “Shane.....”
Shane nodded, “Yes, Sir, of course,” with no hesitate.
Kian nodded believe, and let Shane guided him out.

Kian went out from the toilet. He couldn’t help to take a look to Willa. And still couldn’t believe she was his mother. After this time, what he had been waiting for his life. And she was looked at him with worried face and guilty. Not understand what she’s been doing, but guessed she knew she had upset him. Kian just smiled at her and leaved Charlie’s

As Kian arrived home, he changed to Adeline, and didn’t sure what she’s feeling, but she needed her mother at the moment. She was so glad; Lady Evelyn was resting but not full sleep.

    “Mother... can I lay beside you?” she asked slowly.
Lady Evelyn looked her daughter with curious. Adeline looked so pale.
    “What’s a matter with you, love, are you feeling not well?” she asked worriedly.
    “Nothing, mother, I just missed you so much today. Need to be with you...”
Lady Evelyn had to smile. “Of course, love.., come....”
Adeline sighed in relieved, and get up to lay beside her.
     “Come my dear, let me hold you close,” Lady Evelyn pulled her baby to her arms and wrapped her warmly.
Adeline took a very deep breath absorb her love. A mother’s love. She really needed it. She just hope Kian’s mother would be this full love like Adeline’s. She closed her eyes and sleep peacefully in her mother’s arms.

Shane checked the missy slept peacefully beside her mother before closed the door. He sighed in confusing. Didn’t know what to do. Surely it’s not good news, Kian found his mother. What Master would say? He probably didn’t like it. He knew he had promised Kian to keep this from Master, but he couldn’t, especially if this would affect Adeline. With he moved from that door.

He took a deep breath and knocked His Master’s room.

   “Come in….” a warm voice replied.
Shane went inside and looked The Marques was doing with his paper. Sir Paul was there too.
    “Ah, Shane…,” Lord McFadden smiled with his coming. “How’s the day…? Is she alright?” he asked straight away like he always knew Shane would come for Adeline.
    “Sir…,” Shane answered politely. “Miss Adeline was doing fine today… except…”
Lord McFadden looked up and waited for the rest.
    “Yes…?”
Shane sighed before continued, “There’s a woman at the Charlie’s who might be Kian’s mother, Sir.”
Both Lord McFadden and Paul froze. Paul looked to Lord McFadden for the reaction, then to Shane.
Lord McFadden looked at Shane seriously.
     “Kian’s mother?”
     “Yes, Sir?”
     “How did you know?”
     “Not me, Sir, it’s Kian himself.”
Lord McFadden even froze not really understand.
     “How… she told him?”
     “No, Sir. It was from the story she told him. She gave her baby to St. Peter 17 years ago and the baby has Kiane illness with Kian which no kid had it except Kian. And Kian believes she is his mother, Sir.”
Lord McFadden went to think.
     “And do you believe?”
     “Not 100%, and I’m trying to figure out.  I’ve said to not tell her about his believe before we sure she really are his mother.”
Lord McFadden bit his lips, “So she hasn’t knew Kian…?”
     “No, Sir... but I will make sure if she his mother or not before we tell her.”
     “Yes,” he nodded.
     “Sir…, what if she is really his mother?” Shane asked carefully.
Lord McFadden went silent. “It depends what Kian wanted.”
Shane stayed silent not really understand what his master said.
     “If he wants to let her in, so let her in, but as a part Kian’s life, not Adeline’s.”
Shane went to think.
     “We can’t stop what it should happened, and we wouldn’t deny it. The boy had been suffered, we can’t make him even suffered by denying his mother.”
     “But what about Milady?”
     “Well like I said, she will live on Kian’s life, not Adeline’s. Do you understand, Shane?”
     “Yes, Sir.”
     “Good. I knew I can trust you taking care of Adeline and Kian, so do what the best for him and make him happy.”
Shane nodded with full understand, “Yes, Sir.”
Lord McFadden gave a smile, “Thank You, Shane.”
Shane just nodded and dismissed.

Shane didn’t have to ask why Master commanded that. He still felt guilty for imprisoning Kian with the gown and forced him to be Adeline. So he would do anything to make Kian happy and let the boy do whatever he wanted to do,
